Management Expert of world repute and noted authority on application of IT in Organizational Behavior, Prof. Martin Grossman from US’s famed Bridgewater State College, visited ASBM and gave a lecture on ‘Advent of Knowledge Management : New horizons in IT’. Referring to knowledge management as a new competitive strategy, Prof.Grossman reflected on the paradigm shift of human capital towards intellectual capital with emphasis on structural capital and relational capital. Interacting with management students of ASBM, Prof Grossman answered questions on many ground breaking concepts and technological advancement in IT namely Groove Network, Blogs, Web 2.0, Really Simple Syndication (RSS) and wikis those have revolutionized the growth and significance of knowledge economies across frontiers. A Doctorate in Business Administration from the prestigious Nova south University, Prof.Grossman was in ASBM through a visit organized by the US Consulate General, Kolkata.Appreciating the world class infrastructure and intelligent curriculum of ASBM, he expressed confidence that the institute will soon be acclaimed as one of the front ranking b-school of South Asia.
